OAK BED

This Arts and Crafts-inspired bed matches the bedside cabinets in the previous project and also makes use of some routing skills (see page 92-99 for more details about routing).
Based on the Mission style, this wide double bed with its 64 vertical slats would be a daunting project if they all had to be planed and jointed by hand. The generously proportioned bedstead will carry a conventional modern divan base for extra comfort and provide a good height.
